The Talented Mr. Ripley

A con-man who believes it's better to be a fake somebody than a real nobody is hired to go to Italy and bring back a wealthy man's son, Dickie. He worms his way into the lives of Dickie and his girlfriend, in a scheme of duplicity, lies, and murder.
